The work and the Job
free distribution advice and tips, and jobs
In order to become a good manager you must be aware of the job the people under you are doing. If you haven't done leaflet distribution before let me tell you now; it is not easy work. In terms of distribution time, expect a healthily distributor to distribute around 700 - 1000 a day in built up arears. When distributing in rural or less built up areas expect that number to decline. As a distributor work throughout the day, also remember that the more leaflet they are carrying the slower the pace this would be. This is important to consider especially when a distributor is doing a shared distribution.
Door to Door distribution fall under two categories.
- Solus
Solus leaflet distribution delivery is a method of distribution where leaflets are distributed on its own, and is posted directly though a customers door
- Shared
Shared leaflet distribution plan is a more cost effective solution of business on a tight bugdet. The cost of the distribution is shared between more than one company
Getting quality leaflet distributors
You can find distributors by posting an ad on Gumtree.com, prepare for at least 500 job applicants. Watch your mailbox it will get full.
You can weed down your applicants by specifying English, and that they should be able to work in the UK or EU,
TOP TIP
As business maybe slow initially, in a second advert specify that you want a team with a VAN. That way you don't have to worry about getting the leaflets to the workers. A team with a van will more likely to have other jobs and will simply work for you as well.
